AZFEN J.V. was established in January 1996 by the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (60% ownership) and TEKFEN Construction and Installation Co. Inc. of Turkey (40% ownership).
Our mission is to perform first-class construction and engineering work for oil companies. Experience and innovations have allowed us to provide invaluable service to oil companies in the Caspian Region. We’ve built pipelines, platforms, and terminals for large oil projects. In addition to our capacity and experience, we place a lot of importance on a healthy and safe working environment.
AZFEN is currently looking to expand its operations to other parts of the world.

"Outstanding HSE achievement on Chirag Oil Project"
Since the start of the main construction activities on 1st of July 2010 the Project achieved 1 000 000 manhours without a Lost Time Incident. This achivement was highly appreciated by the AMEC-TEKFEN-AZFEN Consortium management, Project management and also by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company - the Client for this Project. A standdown was carried out to commend the workers.

"West Chirag" Project Launched
AMEC-TEKFEN-AZFEN Consortium commenced the construction works of "West Chirag" topsides, drilling modules and integration of living quarters at AZFEN Bayhil Facility in the framework of COP Project.
The project will continue till March 2013.
